2017 ITF Super Seniors World Team Championships, Orlando are Open!

Captains’ Meetings: Check; Opening Ceremony: Check; Official Dinner: Check; the 2017 ITF Super Seniors World Team Championships are now open and ready for play.

What’s new: an as of yet unnamed Men’s 85 Cup which is on trial this year. There are six teams in this Cup led by the USA and Australia who are the top seeds.

The opening ceremony went off without a hitch…the timing at 4pm was good…just as it finished there was a downpour.

There are nine cups being played on 32 courts. Six will start between 8:30 and 9am and the other three will start at 2pm.

Draws have been made but I’ll link them sometime tomorrow. The information should be up at itftennis.com/seniors.
