The consolation finished Sunday morning. Pat Purcell beat Chieko Holt 64 64 to place 5th in her first national 55s tournament. Cindy Babb and Sue Bramlettenstarted well and hung on to win a tough second set against Debbie Burgess/B’Ann Gabelt 61 76.

Gerda Preissing won the 45 consolation over Kim Cashman 3/0 ret, injury. Heidi Gerger/Randall won the 45 doubles back draw by default over Prejean/Whiting (family event).

Boots Van Nostrand beat Mary Boswell 62 60 to take 5th in the 75s. Canny/Lynch took 5th in doubles.

In the 65s, Leslie Pixley beat Judy Louie 64 64, and Elizabeth Barnhill/Sherri Ploor won the consolation doubles.

Marilyn Skiffington placed 5th in the 85s.

Ivette Dinoso was 5th in the 35 singles and Lindholm/Taylorbwere 5 th in 35 doubles.
