OK, so there are only three of us, but John Powless, Mariana Hollman and I are all into the semis in singles and doubles in Mallorca. John had the day off (he’s getting a chance to get well rested here)…2 matches this week and the tournament began on Sunday!

Mariana had the day off from singles and plays the #2 seed, Olga S from Russia (though she lives in Germany). We won our doubles against two local Spanish players 60 60.

I played Ann Brown from Gr. Britain in the quarters and won 60 60, though it was a little closer than that, she had ads in some games and we had some good games. I play Sabine Robertz from Germany in the semis, she beat the #4 seed today 64 60 and is a quick player, good forehand and determined.
