The Bocage Category II Tournament had a lot of strong play in the latter rounds.
The Collins’ brothers, Bob and Eoin, each won singles titles, with Bob winning the 30s over Troy Free, while Eoin beat Oren Motevassel to win the 40s. Motevassel beat Free in the 35s final. Alfredo Rivera won the 45s and Max King and Chris Reynard took the 50 and 55s respectively. In the 65s, Ray Lake upset Hugh Thomson 76 in the third, after which Padg Bolton beat Thomson 76, retired to take the 60s title. LHill Griffin won the 70s and Lester Sack took out Gordon Hammes 61 61 to win the 75s. Richard Lawson won the 80s. The women’s draws were smaller and dominated by Texans. Shelly Works won the 45s, Kathy Vick took the 50s title, Mary Morgan won the 55s and Peggy Andry won the 65s.
