Format of play: The first three days of play, Sunday/Monday/Tuesday are round robin group play at the end of which the top finishers in each group always advance to the medal rounds on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. In some cases the #2 teams may advance to fill out the knockout draws evenly. For example, in W55 there are only five groups, so three teams which finish second in a group will advance to the quarterfinal knockout rounds.
Ties consist of two singles (best of three full tiebreak sets, ad scoring) followed by doubles which must be played regardless of the score of the tie. #2 singles plays first, then #1 singles, then doubles. The doubles consists of two tiebreak sets followed by a 10 point match tiebreak if the teams split sets.
USA Women’s 50 (Maria Bueno Cup Team) are seeded #2 and are in a round robin the first three days with Australia and Mexico. They play Australia on Day 1. The USA players are, in order of strength submitted: Julie Thu, Amanda Parson-Siegel, Francesca LA O and Carolina Blouin. There are eight groups of 3 teams or 24 total in the Maria Bueno Cup competition.

The USA Women’s 55/Maureen Connolly Cup team are in Group C (3/4 seed) with Portugal and India. The USA play Portugal on day 1, Sunday. There are five groups in this Cup, three of three teams and two of 4 players so 17 teams total. Team USA players in order of strength are: Debbie Spence Nasim, Kathy Settles, Dina McBride, and Andrea Rice.

The Men’s 50 (Fred Perry Cup) team is in Group H (seeded somewhere in the 5-8 range). They are in a group of four teams with Costa Rica, Türkiye and Denmark. They start play Sunday against Costa Rica. There are eight groups of teams in the Perry Cup, five of three teams and three of four teams or 27 teams total. The members of team USA are (in order of strength): Willie Dann, Jesse Walter, Ross Duncan and Rudy Rodrguez.

The USA M55 (Austria Cup) team are in Group B and are the 32 seeds. They are in a group with Austria and Australia. They start the competition against Austria on Sunday. This Cup has seven groups, and 22 teams (six groups of three and one group of four). Team USA, in order of strength is: Eoin Collins, Mickey Maule, Dana Gill and Kurt Kopp.
