The Ralph and Mary Wilson Friendship Cup 2026
The Ralph and Mary Wilson Cup is a 75-and-over International Team Competition held in Feld am See, Austria. It is a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Playing Requirements:
USA players interested in the 2026 Friendship Cup should make sure they play at least one Level 1 and one other sanctioned tournament in 2025. International players must play in one ITF MT 700 (or MT 1000 or World Championships) event and one other tournament in 2025. The two tournaments must be played before submitting the application.
Application Deadline:
November 1, 2025.
Selection Process:
Team members are selected through a drawing and are responsible for travel to and from Austria. Players are treated to room and half board for the Cup event and are invited to stay on to play in the Feld am See Masters 700 Tournament the following week.

Ralph and Mary Wilson Friendship Cup
Application for 2026
The Ralph and Mary Wilson Friendship Cup is a tennis event for women 75 years and over and is held in Feld am See, Austria, the weekend before the scheduled Feld am See ITF Masters 700. The USA and International team members are selected through a drawing. Each team member will be responsible for travel to and from Austria, and for entry fees associated with the ITF Tournament.
Through generous contributions from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, and managed by the National Senior Women’s Tennis Foundation, players are provided hotel accommodations and half board (breakfast and dinner) for 10 days if participating in the Wilson Friendship Cup and the ITF Masters. Players participating only in the Wilson Friendship Cup are provided with hotel accommodations and half board for four days. All USA and International Team members must play singles and doubles in the Wilson Friendship Cup event. The date of the next Ralph and Mary Wilson Cup is planned for September 2026. Exact dates will be announced in November 2025.
To qualify for the USA Team, you must be at least 75 years of age in the year of the competition, play in one USTA Level 1 National Tournament, and one other USTA Sanctioned tournament in 2025 and be a current member of the NWTO. Please submit a USTA printout showing your participation in 2025.
To qualify for the International Team, you must be at least 75 years of age in the year of the competition and have played in your national championship or one ITF Level 700, 1000 or the World Championships, and one other tournament in 2025. Please submit your 2025 tournament participation.
**All must include a recent passport size and type photo i.e. a head and shoulders, 2” x 2” on glossy photo paper (smiling is ok!) to be used in the Friendship Cup program, and a short biography 200 words or less, including how you became interested in tennis and any interesting facts you would like to include.

The drawing will take place in November 2025 to determine the members of the USA and International Teams. Applicants will subsequently be notified via email.
