Gretchen Magers won her third straight National Women’s 40 Hard Court title. She beat Tracy Houk in the final. Gretchen also won the doubles, with Kathy May Fritz, bottom photo above, over Betty Ann Grout and Terry Holladay. Fritz went on to win the mixed doubles as well with Manual Ortiz over Robin Monk/Brian Valparaiso.

In the men’s events there, Peter Smith beat Martin Barba in the singles final and combined with Paul Settles to win the men’s’ doubles over Ross Hessler/John Tyrell.

In the father/son, the Brett and Brian Joelson beat Brett and Jerry Morse-Karzen in the final. Chase Helpingstine/Ronald Keiger won the Grandfather/Grandson title over Larry and Chase Huebner.
