Another beautiful day here, California like weather.

I played the round of 16 against the 14th seed from Gr Britain/So Africa, Liz Vlotman and won 60 60. No doubles yet.

The match of the day in my division was between Yvette Fischlii of Switzerland and Caroline Glazman of France. Caroline had 6 match pts in the 3 hour match but lost 15-13 in the third set breaker!

John Powless won yesterday, reached the semis and had a day off today.

Mariana Holman played a good match against Lucien Granatova from the Czech Republic and won 1,3….lots of moonballs by Mariana, which worked against Lucie’s continental forehand and 1-handed backhand.
