This morning started a bit earlier with a 20 minute hit at 8:25 followed by a quick drive to the Son Besso Club where I hit with Susan and Jenny hit with Gundi Weiland, the top German on the 65s team and the second seed here for another 40 minutes. None of us had matches today. After practice the courts have to be dragged to smooth them out.

After a quick change of clothes we drove to the Cala Ratjada market, since Saturday is the weekly market day here. The market was similar to the one in Santa Maria, but the produce wasn’t quite as good, and there was a bit more in leather goods I think, as well as tons of clothing, and some Mallorcan pearls, ceramic bowls, textiles and children’s clothing among the many items. I did find some pretty big tomatoes, green olives and grapes though. The market was pretty busy and it took us a while to find parking since all parking is on street parking and we were fighting for a spot with the residents.
