Trains, Planes, Cars & Buses

I arrived yesterday in London via foot (walked from hotel to terminal in Prague), plane (PRG-MUC-LHR), taxi to hotel, bus back to Heathrow, train to London. There were long delays on the District line, but I made it to Oxford Street. (On the Jubilee Line the ladt stop is Cockfosters which sounds funny to Americans.) The line at Customs was lengthy, well over an hour to clear..the upside was that there was no waiting for luggage at the baggage carousel. Everyone in line was incredibly patient.

There were massive amounts of shoppers in Oxford Street, driven I suppose by huge sales and tourists. The Asics store had tennis shoes at half price!

I walked to the Marble Arch, then took the Tube back to the airport where I’m meeting my cousin today.
