The USA has six teams participating in the ITF Seniors World Team Championships at various locations in Boca Raton, Florida, Palm Beach County, and all six easily swept their opening singles matches.
The Women’s 50s: Julie Cass at #2 and Debbie Nasim at #1 won singles; Jenny Rens Keller/Anna Zimmermann won the doubles point. They beat Portugal. On Monday they face Netherlands in the Stadium Court.
Women’s 55: Shelly Works #2 and Jenny Klitch, #1 won singles while Judy Newman/Renee Saheim took the doubles. point. They beat Peru and most likely play Ireland tomorrow (no schedule posted yet)

Women’s 60: Fran Chandler, #2 and Vicki Buholz, #1 won the singles points, but Mary Dailey/Gayle Prejean dropped the doubles to a tough Argentinian team. USA plays Hungary tomorrow Court 8.
Men’s 50: USA beat Israel 3/0. Dana Gill #2 and Willie Dann #1 won the singles points; Eoin Collins/Mike Noel won the doubles point. USA faces India tomorrow.

Men’s 55: USA beat Great Britain 3/0 today. Jeff Chambers, #2 and Oren Motevassel #1 took the singles points; Art Hernandez/Andy Stoner won the doubles point. They most likely play Argentina tomorrow (schedule not yet posted).
Men’s 60: USA beat Switzerland 3/0; John Saviano #2 and Bill Moss #1 won the singles; Stu Saiki/Mike Tammen won the doubles point. USA plays Mexico tomorrow Court 9
