The USA Men’s 60 team upset France 2/1 today to advance to the final.
the USA M55 also won 2/0 to advance to the final.
The W55 fell 2/1 to the Netherlands, dropping the deciding doubles point today after an overnight delay.
Update; USA beat Germany 3/0 to finish 5th later on Thursday.
The men’s 50s were down 1/0 but up at #1 singles when it rained yesterday and there have been no updates on the website or from the captains since then.
Update re M 50: USA fell 2/0 to Germany. # 1 singles, Eoin Collins was up 5/2 when it rained but fell 75 36 62. In the 5-8 playoff USA easily beat Argentina 2/0 with Willie Dann and Collins scoring solid straight set wins. They play for 5th tomorrow.
The W50 only began their match around 7pm. They are to play Peru who beat Italy at 5:30 pm then had till 7pm to start #2 singles and 7:45 pm to start #1 singles! No results posted from today. This is a semifinal.
Update: USA defeated Peru 2/0. Julie Cass at #2 won 76 61 and Debbie Spence Nasim won 64 61 at #1. USA had a bye, while Peru had a tough 2/1 victory earlier in the day.
The W60 were off today and play Germany for the Cup tomorrow.
