The USA Margaret Court team faced Great Britain today at Flamingo Park. Julie Cass led off proceedings and lost 75 61. Nancy Hilliard, playing #1, fought valiantly but fell in two tiebreak sets. The doubles point was not played. The USA will play for third on Friday.

The beleaguered USA men’s 45s team won 3/0 for a second straight day, beating South Africa and will play for 15th tomorrow against Costa Rica.

The remaining USA teams were off today.

Friday the USA women’s 35s team will play for GOLD. The USA women’s 40 & 45 teams will play for BRONZE. The USA Men’s 35 & 40 teams will play for 5th. The USA men’s 45 team will play for 15th.
