Bunyola, Mallorca

Yesterday I practiced in the morning.

In the evening, after it cooled off from the upper 90s to the , I walked into Bunyola, which is about a 20 to 25 minute walk from where I’m staying. It was mostly a very nice walk because I’m near the Tramutanya Mountains & Park, another world heritage site. So the views were great of the mountains and I could even see the Mediterranean Sea from the beginning of my walk.

The town of Bunyola is small, but has a vibrant church Square as do most of the small towns in Mallorca’s Center. In the church Square tables were set with menus on them. Music was blaring and people were congregating. It was a really nice atmosphere. There were also other restaurants across the street.

The wooden railway that goes to and from Palma and Soller was at the train station as I walked towards Bunyola. The train to Soller goes through old, orange and almond and olive groves.
