I played my first round match this morning in Mallorca 65s, against Monika Emmrich of Germany. She had a nice forehand and a 2-handed backhand, and hit the ball well…our first warm up rally was about 20 shots each! I won 60 60 though in about an hour to move into the round of 16 against the winner of a match between a German and a Swedish player.
The weather has been quite nice the past few days since the rain, though rain is predicted for Wednesday.
