Charleen Hillebrand and Suella Steel won their third doubles title of the year in the 65s, beating Lurline Fujii/Jane Pang in the final. Fujii/Pang upset the 2nd seeds, Wasser/Weinstock in the semis.
Hillebrand also won the singles, beating Steel in the final, and levelling their matches at 2-2 for the year, though Hillebrand has a 2-1 edge in Category I finals. Susanne Clark beat Grace Woo in the 3/4 playoff.
Suzanne Ryerson won her second straight 75 grass singles title, upsetting the top seed, Louise Russ, for the 2nd year in a row in the semis, before going on to beat unseeded Caroline Clark in the final. Clark had edged the 2nd seed, Elaine Mason 75 in the third the day before. Russ beat Mason 61 76 to take the bronze.
Diane Hoffman retained her 75 doubles title, combining with Joyce Jones to upset the previously undefeated team of Angie Ray/Jeannette Weiland in the semis and then taking the final by default over Ryerson/Eva Barbiero.
Dodo won the 3 person round robin in the 85s, with Loucille Scoggins taking the silver.
