Mont Tremblant ITF 1000 Day 1: The Rain is Gone!

Draws are here.

Today the rain was gone, though not the cool weather. It may seem odd to the sweltering west and south in the USA but here temperatures never reached the 60s. I was wearing a down jacket when not playing today! However, the rain was gone and the courts were in good condition. The head groundsperson said when they arrived in the morning the courts were like lakes but by 8:00 am they were in great condition. Vicki and I practiced for nearly an hour, then went our separate ways for breakfast. We were also able to practice in the afternoon for a while, so got in a good day of hitting.

Otherwise I just did some normal exercises (shoulder, hip, calves quads etc.), and went to the grocery store of course!

Tomorrow I play at 9:30, Vicki at 2 and Toni Novak at 4. And temperatures should rise to the upper 60s…perfect tennis weather.

And yes…it’s very green and very beautiful here…hopefully can take some photos in the sunshine tomorrow!
