Yesterday, Wednesday May 11th the seniors worlds ended for me. I played top seed and defending champion Helga Nauck in singles (lost 61 61 in about 90 minutes) and in doubles (lost 3,2 with Susan Wright). It was a long but fun 3 weeks of tournaments.
In other matches, Vicki Buholz beat Gillian Brook of GBR but then fell to Nauck today 2,1; Erin Boynton squeezed past Fran Chandler 76 in the third, rallying from 0-3 in the third, befor falling to Lisa Prechtel (NED) 0,1 today.
Buholz/Gayle Prejean won their doubles semi yesterday in a match tiebreak over Pat Purcell/L Bottinelli. Excellent match.
In other play, Jenny Klitch reached the 55 singles final;
