Quick post…early practice tomorrow, and we had the afternoon match today.
USA Godfrey Cup team won 3/0; I won at #2, Susan at #1 and Carolyn Lane/Bunnie Jackson took the doubles point. We played Spain, Carmen, Africa, Rosa and Magda…really nice ladies.
The men’s 85 barely won 2/1…they lost the #2 singles and Lester Sack was down a set at #1 singles before rallying to win the second set and tiebreak…then the team won the doubles easily.
The USA Women’s 70s team won 2/1 against Brazil, splitting the singles and winning the doubles easily.
