Update Sunday: USA won the bronze in Men’s 65 & gold in Women’s 75 thus winning 3 gold and 2 bronze overall.

The USA Doris Hart Cup beat Great Britain today, winning both singles in straight sets this time. Carol Wood and Burnett Herrick won #2 and #1 singles respectively. 

The USA Men’s 80s, Gardnar Mulloy Cup,  completed their victory over Germany with Lester Sack completing his match that was in progress yesterday when rain halted it, then beat Australia 2/1, sweeping both singles in straight sets behind wins by King Van Nostrand and Lester Sack before dropping the doubles match. 

The USA Kitty Godfree Cup swept Great Britain today 3/0 to earn the bronze medal. Their vanquishers, Australia, won the Cup. 

The USA Britannia Cup team fell 2/1 to Spain, losing the deciding doubles today. They were to play for third either later today or tomorrow; as of 10:30 pm local time in Umag no results were posted. There will be a later update.
