USA W50 (Bueno Cup): USA beat So Africa 3/0. Heather Waters won a tough two-setter at #2; Amanda Parsons Siegel won 4,0 at #1 and Julie Silveira and Isabela Iantosca won the doubles 11-9 in the match tiebreak!

USA M50 (Austria Cup): USA d. Australia 2/1: Neel Grover, USA lost in two tight sets at #2 singles. Willie Dann won at #1 singles and Dann/Grover were scheduled to play the doubles point (which the USA won).

USA W55 (Connolly Cup) beat Portugal 3/0 behind strong singles performances by Julie Cass (#2) and Debbie Nasim (#1) and a decisive doubles win by Ros Nideffer/Judy Newman.

USA M55 (Austria Cup) beat Argentina 3/0; Collins won at #2 61 61; Motevassel won another tough 3-setter (but we all know he likes to grind!) and Dana Gill/Vivek Varma took the doubles in straight sets.

W60 (Marble Cup): USA beat Argentina 3/0; Fran Chandler won 60 62; Vicki Buholz won 63 in the third and Christine Paulson/Gayle Prejean won 63 64. Vicki said that today the singles matches were played on indoor clay and the doubles was outdoors; yesterday singles was outside and doubles was indoors. Some matches start in the morning and others “not before” 12:30pm.

USA M60 (Von Cramm Cup) beat Portugal 3/0 Peter Smith (2) and Bill Moss (1) played singles and Smith/Polo Cowan played doubles; all matches were won in straight sets.
