Mont Tremblant Day 3: Into the Semis, Beating Bye

Draws are here.

First off the weather report: There was no rain in Mont Tremblant today…not much sun either, though it did make a few brief appearances during the day. The weather was actually perfect for tennis, overcast, not too windy and neither hot nor cold.

I won my singles against Bye…Susan Bye to be precise. Vicki won too against a tough player, Suzette Jordan. I play #3 seed Francine Pilon, who is a solid all court player and Vicki plays MJ Pachl a Canadian/American from Florida/Vermont/Quebec. We won our doubles against Diane Lavoie/Elise St-Antoine of Canada and played well for our first time on the court together. We have a tougher one tomorrow against Cindy Doherty (a Canadian Cup member) and Pat Babcock, a solid doubles player.

Toni Novak had the day off. Other Americans having success: Mike Rose (M65), Bruce Nisbet (M50) & Robert Graham (M70, beat Andrew Rae first round 63 3/0 retired…injury), all singles semifinalists and Helga Immerfall, W70, into the final. Nick Ourusoff, M85, is still winning in that division.
