USA advances to the quarterfinals in all 4 cups after winning Lucky Loser Draws in Men’s 50 and Women’s 55: ITF World Team Championships, Lisbon

The USA Men’s 50 team B Australia, today 3/0, placing second in their group. They won the drawing for the “Lucky Loser” spot in the quarterfinals playoff draw and face number two seeded France tomorrow.

The women’s 55 also had to hope for a bit of luck and they won one of the two playoff spots open for “Lucky Losers”. They have a tough match tomorrow against top seeded Italy.

The men’s 55s and the women’s 50s are seeded second in their respective playoffs. The women’s 50s play Italy tomorrow and the men’s 55 play France.

    • I am not in Portugal with the teams…just reporting on results (and in the WhatsApp group for the USA teams as a result). Will be in Germany for a few days in September for the German Club playoffs.
