Ottersweier, Sunday

I played the quarters and semis in Ottersweier today. It was a nice and mostly sunny day, and not too windy. I played at 9am and 4:30 pm, the second match felt as if it was played on a different day!

I beat Caroline Glaszmann from France, the 5th seed (and not happy to be drawn against the top seed in the quarters), and won 61 60. In tje afternoon i played the 4th seed, 0lga Marcova fom the Czech Republic, and won 60 61. She hit 3 lines and a drop volley to win that game, and had a little celebration.

Tomorrow i play Nora Blom, who had 2 pretty good matches today, against Sabine Schmidt and Susanne Schweda, but won in straight sets, upping her game when she was in danger of falling behind in the score.

I play Nora tomorrow in the final. It will be a tough match. I hope the rain holds off, or we will have to play on slippery carpet indoors!
