The USA clinched the #1 spots in their groups in the Men’s 45s (Dubler Cup) and Women’s 30s with 3-0 wins over India and South Africa respectively.
The Women’s 35s (Lenglen Cup) and Men’s 35s (Italia Cup) each beat Australia 3/0 to clinch the #2 spots in their respective groups. They advanced to the medal rounds where they will play a team which finished #1 in its group. Each team plays a French team tomorrow.
The Women’s 40 (Young Cup) & 45 (Court Cup)teams and Men’s 30 teams all had byes; Young Cup plays Portugal in the QF (Portugal finished #2 in its group); the Court Cup plays GBR in the quarters (GBR finished #2 in its group) and the Men’s 30s play GBR I’m the quarters (USA finished #2 in its group and GBR finished #1)
The Men’s 40s (Trabert Cup) lost 3/0 to Poland today and plays for 13-19 starting tomorrow, against Canada.
